The City of Springfield requests the sealed submittal of Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from GDOT pre-qualified consultant teams to complete the preliminary engineering, environmental work, and construction bidding through the development of the plans, specifications, and estimates per the current GDOT Plan Development Process (PDP) and GDOT standards for GDOT PI No. 0016637-Laurel Street (SR 21 BU) Streetscape Phase III Project.

The project will construct parking improvements and approximately 2,500 linear feet of streetscape improvements on both sides of Laurel Street from Rabun Street to East Madison Street and from Second Street to Stillwell Road within the city limits of Springfield, Georgia.

Submittals will be received at by the City of Springfield until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2021.

Submittals must be presented in a sealed opaque envelope or box; identify the Proposer’s name and title; and reference “RFQ-2020-001 GDOT P.I. 0016637” and project name “Laurel Street (SR 21 BU) Streetscape Phase III Project” clearly on the outside of the envelope or box and mailed or hand delivered to the following address:

No submittals will be accepted after the time and date set for receipt. Late proposals will not be opened. The City shall assume no responsibility for responses that are received after the prescribed time or that are not properly addressed or identified. Responses submitted via e- mail will be rejected.

RFQ documents will become are now available and can be obtained by any interested parties by clicking on the link at the bottom of this advertisement, on the GA Procurement Registry website or by emailing a request to Amber Dyson, Finance Director All general communication of relevant information regarding this solicitation will be made via the City’s website. All firms are responsible for checking the City’s website on a regular basis for updates, clarifications, and announcements.
