The Street and Lane Maintenance Worker is a full-time permanent position in the Street and Lane Department. The immediate supervisor for this position is the Roads Foreman. The person in this position is supervised on a daily basis. The person in this position works regular hours year-round. The person in this position rarely works overtime or nights. There is no shift work associated with this position. The person in this position is always on call. 10% of the work for this position is indoors; 95% of the work is outdoors in all types of weather conditions. The Street and Lane Maintenance Worker is accountable for monetary, legal, and safety issues for which this position is responsible.
Physical work consists of, but is not limited to, driving, lifting, standing for long periods of time, bending, sitting for long periods of time, and climbing.
Benefit package available and starting salary is $17+ hourly based on experience.
