SUMMARY:Lesley Manning: A Celebration of Art\, Spirit\, and 70 Years of Creativity
DESCRIPTION:Realty Companies is proud to announce an exclusive art exhibit and sale celebrating the 70th birthday of local painter\, illustrator\, and jewelry maker Lesley Manning. The event will be held at The Realty Companies\, 122 North Laurel Street\, Springfield Georgia\, on December 6\, 2024 at 5 – 8 pm to coincide with Springfields First friday and Tree Lighting.  \nLesley Manning has long been recognized for her delicate and ethereal artwork\, which spans multiple mediums. A respiratory therapist by trade but an artist at heart\, Lesley’s creative journey has always been guided by a singular force: the spirit. “I describe my painting process as excavating God’s beauty\,” she shares. “I just let the spirit take over and paint as if in a vision.” \nLesley’s work explores themes of nature\, from plants and animals to fluid\, sometimes otherworldly forms. Her delicate brushstrokes and intuitive approach create pieces that feel at once timeless and transcendent\, inviting viewers to experience the natural beauty with an organic and sometimes abstract twist. Lesley has mastered the art of capturing fleeting moments of grace and wonder. \nThis exhibit will feature a curated selection of Lesley’s paintings\, drawings\, and a range of jewelry pieces. As part of this special celebration\, works will be available for purchase\, offering collectors and art enthusiasts the opportunity to own a piece of Lesley Manning’s spirit-filled creations. \n“We are thrilled to honor Lesley’s extraordinary talent and artistic journey\,” said Lindsey Gerow\, Founder of Effingham Artists. “Lesley has always been a guiding light in my own artistic journey and I am honored for Adrian [Webber\, Savannah Market Director of Realty Companies and Co-Founder of Effingham Artists] and I to be able to showcase her breathtaking work in the RC Art Show Gallery. This idea for Lesley to exhibit her collection grew during a “Artist’s Way” Workshop in summer of 2023. Lesley spoke often of just wanting her artwork to be seen and loved\, she has worked so hard to get it ready for this exhibit”. \nThis celebration not only marks a milestone in Lesley’s life but also offers the public a chance to engage with her work and possibly take home a gift of a lifetime this holiday season. Friends\, family\, art enthusiasts\, the general public are welcome to stop by this Free public eve
