The City of Springfield Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings with meeting immediately following close of the public hearings on October 5, 2026, beginning at 6:00pm.

 

The City of Springfield Mayor and Council will hold public hearings, with regular meeting immediately following the close of the public hearings on October 13, 2026, beginning at 6:00pm.

The above-mentioned public hearings will be held to receive comments on the following items:

  1. Request for Special Exemption from site and design standards for an accessory building at “DT” Downtown zoned property located at 301 N Laurel St (Parcel S101-10). 
  1. Request for Special Exemption for an accessory building located within front setback at R-1 Zoned property located at 1013 Ash St Ext (Parcel S116-7). 
  1. Request for Conditional Use to conduct surfacing mining at 923 McCall Rd. (Parcel S135-2).

 

All public hearings and meetings will be held in the Springfield Council Room located at 130 S. Laurel Street (located between Springfield City Hall and Springfield Police Department).
