Christmas Tree Lighting

Mars Theatre

Celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with Illusionist Evan Dupree‘s magic show “BELIEVE”. For a magical sleigh ride of fun, mystery, and storytelling put to magic, you will literally believe in the meaning of Christmas if you haven’t already. Evan Dupree has been awarded “Magician of the Year” twice and has appeared on several television shows such as “America’s Got Talent”, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “The Huckabee Show”. Tree Lighting
6:00pm
We will begin the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:00pm. We will sing Christmas Carols and light our Springfield Christmas Tree!
Hot Chocolate Stand
5:30pm-7:30pm
The Springfield DDA will be serving Free Hot Chocolate and Marshmelows starting at 5:30pm!
Springfield Elementary Dance Team
5:45pm
Come see The Springfield Elementary Dance Team perform before the tree lighting!
Christmas Flower Show
3:00-6:00pm
The annual Springfield Garden Club Christmas Wreath exhibit will be held inside City Hall. Show will begin at 3:00pm and close at 6:00pm. Items will be for sale after the exhibit is closed at 6:00pm.
Holiday 5K
5:00pm
The Fall 5k Series Christmas 5K will begin at 5:00pm. Onsite registration will start at 4:30 with run starting at 5:00pm. Wear your Christmas best and join in the fun: Register Here
