A Nostalgic, All-Ages Celebration in Partnership with Empire Comic-Con
Springfield, GA — Let’s-a go! The Historic Mars Theatre is inviting the community to gear up for a one-of-a-kind movie experience with its Level Up Party, celebrating the release of Super Mario Galaxy on April 3 at 7:00 PM.
In partnership with Empire Comic-Con, the event transforms a night at the movies into an interactive celebration for fans of all ages. Before the screening, guests can enjoy a hands-on, nostalgic experience featuring vintage gaming consoles and classic Mario toys, offering a chance to play and explore the roots of one of gaming’s most iconic franchises.
The evening will also include character meet-and-greets and encourages attendees to come dressed as their favorite characters, creating a lively, immersive atmosphere throughout the theatre.
All pre-show activities are complimentary with the purchase of a movie ticket, making it an accessible and exciting experience for families, longtime fans, and newcomers alike. Activities will be available on a first come, first served basis.
“This is exactly the kind of event The Mars was made for,” said Maddie Greer, Director of the Mars Theatre. “It brings together nostalgia, community, and a sense of play that makes the experience feel bigger than just watching a movie.”
