Public Notice

The City of Springfield Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings with meeting immediately following the close of the public hearings on May 3rd, 2021 beginning at 6:00pm.

The City of Springfield Mayor and Council will hold public hearings, with regular meeting immediately following the close of the public hearings on May 11th, 2021 beginning at 6:00pm.

The above mentioned public hearings will be held to receive comments on the following items:

  1. Proposed amendment to the City of Springfield Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 3.1 Detached Single Family Residential District to further define the minimum requirements of the district.
  • Proposed amendment to the City of Springfield Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 3.3 Multifamily Residential District to further define the minimum requirements of the district.
  • Request for a Conditional Use allow construction of mini-storage facilities on B-1 Zoned property adjacent to Highway 21 

(Parcel S131-9).  

  • Request for a Variance to reduce the rear and side setbacks for development of B-1 Zoned property adjacent to Highway 21 

(Parcel S131-9).

All public hearings and meetings will be held in the Springfield Council Room located at 130 S. Laurel Street.
