The City of Springfield Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings with meeting immediately following the close of the public hearings on January 3rd, 2022 beginning at 6:00pm.
The City of Springfield Mayor and Council will hold public hearings, with regular meeting immediately following the close of the public hearings on January 11th, 2022 beginning at 6:00pm.
Public hearings to be held are in relation to the following items:
1. Request for Special Exemption from the Zoning Ordinance signage requirements regarding size and number of signs at 2600 Hwy 21 South, Rincon, GA (County Parcel 429-6A).
2. Proposed Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance, Section 4.45 Signs.
3. Proposed Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance, creating a Highway Overlay District to create additional requirements for all City of Springfield parcels within 500ft of GA Hwy 21.
All public hearings and meetings will be held in the Springfield Council Room located at 130 S. Laurel Street
