The City of Springfield Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings with meeting immediately following close of the public hearings on
August 1, 2022 beginning at 6:00pm.
The City of Springfield Mayor and Council will hold public hearings, with regular meeting immediately following the close of the public hearings on August 9, 2022 beginning at 6:00pm.
The above mentioned public hearings will be held to receive comments on the following items:
1. Request for Annexation and Rezoning from Effingham County Zoning designation of B-3 and AR-1 to Springfield Zoning designation of AR-1 for the five properties listed below:
(a) Parcel 429-11, located at 2685 Hwy 21 S., consisting of 1.03 Acres
(b) Parcel 429-12, located on Ga Hwy 21 S. consisting of 0.71 acres
(c) Parcel 429-13, located at 2653 Hwy 21 S consisting of 0.70 acres
(d) Parcel 429-14, located at 2655 Hwy 21 S., consisting of 0.69 acres
(e) Parcel 429-15, located on GA Hwy 21 S., consisting of 0.74 acres
2. Request for Annexation and Rezoning from Effingham County Zoning designation of of I-1 to Springfield Zoning designation of I-1 for the four properties listed below:
(a) Parcel 429A-1, located at 0 Hwy 275, consisting of 8.90 acres
(b) Parcel 429A-2, located at 145 Industrial Blvd, consisting of 11.29 acres
(c) Parcel 429A-14, located at 121 Entrepreneur Way, consisting of 4.73 acres
(d) Parcel 429A-14A, located on Hwy 275, consisting of 12.3 acres
All public hearings and meetings will be held in the Springfield Council Room located at 130 S. Laurel Street (located between Springfield City Hall and Springfield Police Department).
