The City of Springfield Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings with meeting immediately following close of the public hearings on
September 12th, 2022 beginning at 6:00pm.
The City of Springfield Mayor and Council will hold public hearings, with regular meeting immediately following the close of the public hearings on September 13th, 2022 beginning at 6:00pm.
The above mentioned public hearings will be held to receive comments on the following items:
- Request by homeowners at 301 Chestnut Street for a Special Exemption from the Zoning Ordinance that would allow a two bedroom accessory dwelling on the existing lot with zoning classification of R-1 (Parcel S103-44).
- Request by property owner for a Conditional Use to operate a car sales business at the B-1 Zoned property located at 1122 S. Laurel Street (Parcel S110-4E).
- Request by property owner for a Special Exemption from the site plan and building design requirements of the DT Zoning District for development of the rear lot of 503 N. Laurel Street (Parcel S101-15).
All public hearings and meetings will be held in the Springfield Council Room located at 130 S. Laurel Street (located between Springfield City Hall and Springfield Police Department).
