The City of Springfield Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings with meeting immediately following close of the public hearings on June 30, 2025 beginning at 6:00pm.

The City of Springfield Mayor and Council will hold public hearings, with regular meeting immediately following the close of the public hearings on July 8, 2025 beginning at 6:00pm.

The above-mentioned public hearings will be held to receive comments on the following items:

  1. Proposed Amendment to City of Springfield Zoning Ordinance, Article III regarding Large Retail Establishments in commercial districts and Article IV, Section 4.46 Site Plan Approval.
  • Request for Conditional Use to operate a Vape Shop and CBD Store at  B-1 property located at 1442 Hwy 21 S. (Parcel S115-25)
  • Request for a Variance from Downtown District Sign Regulations regarding Hanging Sign located at 503 N Laurel St (Parcel S101-15)

All public hearings and meetings will be held in the Springfield Council Room located at 130 S. Laurel Street (located between Springfield City Hall and Springfield Police Department).
