The City of Springfield Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings with meeting immediately following close of the public hearings on May 2nd, 2022 beginning at 6:00pm.The City of Springfield Mayor and Council will hold public hearings, with regular meeting immediately following the close of the public hearings on May 10th, 2022 beginning at 6:00pm.
The above mentioned public hearings will be held to receive comments on the following items:
1. Amendments to the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Springfield to allow for Liquor Stores in the Downtown District (DT) and the B-1 Commercial District (so long as the establishment is located within the Hwy 21 Bypass Overlay District.)
2. Amendment to Code of Ordinances of the City of Springfield Chapter 5 Alcohol to provide for separate requirements for package sales of distilled spirits in the Downtown District (DT) and the B-1 Commercial District (so long as the establishment is located within the Hwy 21 Bypass Overlay District.)
All public hearings and meetings will be held in the Springfield Council Room located at 130 S. Laurel Street (located between Springfield City Hall and Springfield Police Department).
