CSX Transportation has notified the City of Springfield of scheduled maintenance and repairs on 17 railroad crossings within Effingham County.
Crews will begin in Garden City and finish in Clyo. Each crossing will be closed 3-5 days pending weather, equipment and any unforeseen circumstances. However, for the private crossings that only have one way in/out, CSX will work these crossing in 12hrs.
